The ChanceryGreen partners are delighted to welcome Steve Mutch into the partnership from 1 April 2022. Steve has been with ChanceryGreen since July 2015, first as a senior solicitor and, since June 2017, as a senior associate. Prior to joining ChanceryGreen, Steve worked at a national firm for 4 years.
Recognised as a key lawyer in the 2022 Asia Pacific Legal 500, Steve has substantial experience in consenting major residential property development, infrastructure and energy projects, and coastal development. He is currently advising on several significant projects, including a large-scale mixed-use development of a 130ha site in Mangawhai, north of Auckland. The proposed development includes a town centre with a range of retail (including a supermarket), commercial and other services; a business/industrial area; and is planned to deliver some 1000 residential dwellings, including a retirement village.
When he’s not working, Steve enjoys spending time with his family including his two young children, playing football, going to the gym, and getting his hands dirty on DIY around the house.
